This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 I thought this book was gonna be better than the previous 2 and It wasn’t。 It’s too predictable and some stuff did not make sense and just boring。 This “dark romance” is not dark and it feels like a rainbow and just so predictable。 I like Rika’s story more because at least they terrorized herSpoiler What the hell with the 2% chance of Rika， Banks and Damon to share the same blood type。 I was not very good at Biology but Rika and Banks are not related so it did not make sense to me

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 WOW。 This was absolutely the best book in the devils night series。 I was dying to get to this one because everyone always talks about Winter and Damon， but i couldn’t understand how he was going to redeem himself from all the shit he pulled in books one and two。 BUT WOWWOWOWOWWOW HE REDEEMED HIMSELF。 There is honestly nothing i like more than a redemption arc and a backstory for villain-type characters。 Damon Torrance was always dark compared to the other horseman， but we never got much of why b WOW。 This was absolutely the best book in the devils night series。 I was dying to get to this one because everyone always talks about Winter and Damon， but i couldn’t understand how he was going to redeem himself from all the shit he pulled in books one and two。 BUT WOWWOWOWOWWOW HE REDEEMED HIMSELF。 There is honestly nothing i like more than a redemption arc and a backstory for villain-type characters。 Damon Torrance was always dark compared to the other horseman， but we never got much of why besides of his horrible mother。 Kill Switch gave more insight into his life growing up（which made me cry multiple times） and introduced his soft spot， Winter Ashby。 This was the first book where i felt romance and chemistry between the main characters。 Damon being her ghost， and doing romantic things for her， helping her “see” colors was so sweet。 But obviously things took a turn for the worst and he went to jail。 Beyond that， Winter was such a great female lead， i actually loved her and i felt that her being blind only empowered her， and she didn’t view it as a weakness。 I also never saw that coming， it’s not mentioned in the first couple chapters so i had no clue。 I love that their story started with them as children and despite the tragedies that filled their lives， they were still able to come together in the end。 I never saw myself loving Damon but here we are。 AND THE STUFF WITH WILL？？ Also didn’t see that coming but i’m not complying。 Excited to finish the series but i don’t think this book can be topped 。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Maybe 2。5 stars？I am just so disappointed in this book。 I had SUCH high expectations for Damon's story。。。and it all fell flat。 The plot was so uneventful。 If someone asked， I could not recall anything important that happened for at least the first 350+ pages。 Although， I did like the flashbacks chapters for the most part。 They are what kept me really reading， because they were at least were fast-paced and had meaning。 There were a few scenes in the present scenes that were really gut-wrenching， Maybe 2。5 stars？I am just so disappointed in this book。 I had SUCH high expectations for Damon's story。。。and it all fell flat。 The plot was so uneventful。 If someone asked， I could not recall anything important that happened for at least the first 350+ pages。 Although， I did like the flashbacks chapters for the most part。 They are what kept me really reading， because they were at least were fast-paced and had meaning。 There were a few scenes in the present scenes that were really gut-wrenching， and I lived for them， but they were few and far between， and only lasted a few pages。 Then it was back to being dull。 As for the characters， I've been wanting to read Damon's book from the get-go。 He was relentless in the first two books， and I was SO ready for his anti-hero， dark soul。 Did I get that？ Absolutely not。 First off， he always had these inner-monologues about his feelings and why he did what he did in the first two books， and how nothing he actually did was going to end up as bad as they had seemed， like he was going to stop before it all went too far。 And that just took away the mystery AND the ruthlessness of him。 I swear he was softer than both Michael and Kai？ And， everything he did in this book contradicted itself。 One moment he hated everyone， and the next he was barring his soul and asking for forgiveness， which would be fine if something happened to actually cause the change of heart， or even if we got one of those inner-monologues about why。 But nope。 He'd just break down for no reason。 And then there was Winter。 I mean， she was just bland。 I liked her strength and need to prove herself to be equal to everyone， in spite of her blindness， but she wasn't all that interesting。 And the chemistry between Damon and Winter？ Non-existent。 I SWEAR he had more chemistry with Will in just a few pages。 In fact， his scenes with Will were also one of the only reasons I kept reading; I was hoping to get more。 Did we ever even really get closure with them？ Not as much as I would have liked。 I also feel like we didn't really get enough of Michael， Kai， Rika， and Banks。 The scenes we did get them were pretty good， but not enough。Overall， I'm just so disappointed。 I wanted to love this book， but it just didn't live up tot he hype。 Will I go on to read Will's book？ Yeah， but probably not for a long while。 。。。more
